Summer 07

Thanks to all who responded to my first post. How exciting! I appreciate all of your encouraging comments and want to keep viewing (and reviewing) all of the options available with blogging. This is definitely a learning experience for me.

Summer 07

Here I am at the Summer Institute (June 6-7 and June 11-12) attempting to start a blog, something I don't know too much about but that sure looks like it has a lot of possibilities for the classroom. Some of my ideas for using it for the coming school year are
1. a place for students to respond to assigned readings
2. a place for students to react to each other's responses to these readings
3. a place for me to respond to students' reactions to the readings or to others' responses

This is just a start, but I can see the possiblities are endless.
